SatGate Teleport was built in Vilnius (Lithuania) in 2008 using the most advanced technologies in telecommunications. Connection to the backbone providers is carried out by two independent fiber optic channels, providing reliable connectivity with major Internet providers: TeliaSonera, Cogent, LinxTelecom directly in their points of presence in Vilnius and Stockholm. Teleport is equipped with uninterrupted power supplies, including diesel generators and battery blocks, and with climate control system. There are seven advanced antenna complexes installed at the teleport, equipped with receiving and transmitting equipment can give various solutions to global broadcast television providers and ISPs. Qualified personnel monitors and controls all the equipment located in teleport on 24/7 schedule.
